Fantastic music lineup, and charming atmosphere but you have to sit through at least a 15 minute political diatribe by the owner before the music even begins. Kinda turned me off, man. I went there to enjoy music, not for a political rally.
They don't make them like this anymore! It's a must see if you're in the area. There's a note at the front counter that says to write down what you owe and a calculator to figure your tax if the owner happens to be out. I live it!!
Funky country store with a liberal twist, and wonderful, intimate music venue rolled into one. Nothing fancy here, and no dance floor, but they have good sound system and every seat has a great view. I was allowed to bottle feed a tiny kitten that was being fosterd, which made my day. Great people!
Come and step back to the 1800's into the General Store that has fresh popped popcorn on a wood-burning stove and delightful food made with fresh vegetables out of the garden. On Saturday nights during the winter enjoy live music from aspiring bands all for a small fee. Fun for the family and a first date.
